THE L’ABU STORY

FROM SKIN CLINIC TO SKIN CARE

Professional skincare. Everyday simplicity.

L’abu Skin was created by a mother and daughter with one mission: to bring clinic-grade skincare into everyday routines — without the salon price tag.

In our own skin treatment clinic, we saw how high-quality, targeted formulas delivered real results. So we developed a streamlined range that delivers maximum impact with minimal steps — no unnecessary layers, no inflated prices.

Now trusted in salons and loved at home, L’abu Skin gives you age-positive, expert skincare that fits real life.

L’abu Skincare: Our Journey So Far

2017

With natural remedies and wellness being such a big part of our upbringing, we started dreaming of creating a private clinic that focused on natural anti-ageing treatments. We knew that dreams mean little without action — so we decided to act.

2018

This was the year everything started.
Our passion became a reality as we opened our first private skincare clinic in Wolverhampton. We chose to focus on delivering quality treatments, specialising in two self-regenerating methods: HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and Microneedling.

As our client base grew across the Midlands, we realised how difficult it was to find honest skincare. That pushed us to dive deeper — into research, into training, and eventually, into creating our own formulas.

2019

By 2019, after months of work, our skincare line launched.
We introduced our first refined range of eight essential products and tested them with thousands of real people. The response was everything we hoped for — the reviews came in, and people truly loved L’abu. We knew then that this could be something much bigger.

Fun fact: the name “L’abu” comes from our family name — Hubball — flipped around.

2020

This was a year of growth, but also challenge.
We expanded our product development, refined our ingredient blends, and officially launched L’abu online. The response was overwhelming — reviews came pouring in and we felt so encouraged by the love we received.

At the same time, the world was facing so much hardship. We knew we had to do our part. We donated over £4,000 worth of skincare to frontline NHS workers. It was a humbling moment for us — and one we’ll never forget.

Fun fact: in 2020, we grew enough to bring on a personal marketing team. It felt like a big step for a small family business. (You can follow our journey on Instagram @_labuskin)

2021

This year brought real momentum.
With feedback from our incredible customers, we revisited our formulas and improved the range. We also launched a brand-new website, and began appearing in retail stores and on several online platforms.

Fun fact: we were featured in the Daily Mail!

2022

A year about giving back.
Since the start, we’ve talked about our goal to support children’s charities — openly and honestly, without any hidden costs or gimmicks. In 2022, we committed ourselves to making that happen. We’re building this dream with care, and we hope our community will grow with us along the way.

Any dream is within reach. You just have to act.

With love,
Hayley & Netta Hubball
